Financial Assurance
The ESAC Client Assurance program provides a total of $11 million in bonds protecting the funds Merit's clients entrust them with every day. Accreditation from ESAC in the PEO industry is like FDIC protection in the banking industry. It provides financial protection to Merit's clients in the unlikely event of a PEO failure.
Professionalism & Responsibility
Qualifying for accreditation through ESAC is very difficult. It involves a multitude of standards that must be achieved in the areas of financial performance, industry best practices, management experience and competence, business ethics standards and more. These high standards assure Merit's clients that Merit Resources is conducting business at the highest level in the PEO industry.
Ongoing Performance Standards
Once a PEO is accredited through ESAC, it must demonstrate on an ongoing basis that it will maintain those standards required at application. This is achieved through third-party audits performed every quarter.
